MW Skatepark Benefit Show-Saturday 2.24!

Come out to the CAPITOL HILL ARTS CENTER this SATURDAY FEBUARY 24th for the Marginal Way Skatepark Winter Benefit!

This show features All Bets On Death, The Alterboys, 12 Gauge Saint and DJ Bobcat. There will also be a SICK skate raffle!

The festivities get started at 9:30 (21+) and the super low $4 cover goes directly into building the skatepark.

We just finished several major renovations including new gutters and a drainage system that keeps the park dry all year long. We also completed pouring a new pump bump and we’re building a pillar island – so we’re broke! If you would like to donate online please go to the website and click the PayPal link.

I have a couple snowboards from my work to raffle off in addition to a stellar line up of bands and goods. I'll of course be playing everything you can think of and/or request - got all my skaterock since 3rd grade on hand.

Please show up, we wont turn anyone away (unless you are under 21 and dont have a good fake ID). It would be nice to see some of your dodgy portland folks dragging your behinds up here for once too.

A big thank-you goes out to all the peeps who turned up for the MW Winter Benefit! It was a great night and we raised several hundred dollars for the skatepark.

Marginal Way would like to thank Monster Skateboards, Midnight Ice Cream skateboards, Ride Snowboards and Bombshelter skate shop for generously donating their products for the raffle. Big ups to All Bets on Death, 12 Gauge Saint, The Altarboys, DJ Bobcat and Dickie at the Capitol Hill Arts Center for the music and entertainment. It was an awesome night!
